Pelvic Curl - Simple Pilates Exercise
Learn how to pelvic curl simply and easily. In this video, I take you through the steps of how to activate your core during a simple mat pilates exercise. The relationship between your pelvis and spine and the control of this pilates movement is strongly associated with the relationship and strength of the various muscles surrounding the pelvic region. These muscles include the gluteal muscles, the pelvic floor, abdominal muscles and your back muscles. Maintaining good activation of these muscles through out the pelvic curl movement is very important when articulating through the spine. We teach you how to move your pelvis and articulate through your spine, activating your muscles to ensure a fluid smooth movement of the pelvis with the spine. This simple pilates exercise will help you strengthen your pelvic floor which will assist with any bladder problems you may have.
